The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been using this video as an ad on YouTube, and that’s when I first saw it. To tell you the truth, it’s one of my favorites!
Richard was a self-proclaimed atheist searching for purpose in his life, so being the rational person he was, he decided to put theism to the test.
This video explores his experience in searching for that purpose in life and a meeting friends who, by their happy examples, made him think deeper on theism as a realistic option for his life.
“If you asked me before I met the missionaries, before I joined the church, if an atheist like me could believe in God, or believe in the gospel, I would have said no! Absolutely not!”
What he discovered was that the Latter-day Saints he became friends with were genuinely happened, which led him to conclude that the principles they were living must be true because they led to that happiness. looking to the best evidence for faith he could find: the people who lived it.
If everything I’ve heard is wrong, if everything is not true, then why are these people so happy?
Go ahead and check the video out below, you are going to love Richard’s personality and his contagious laugh!
