5 Phases You’ll Go Through When You’re Asked to Speak at Church

People are generally very willing to speak in church. It’s one of the ways we serve each other and grow spiritually. A member of the bishopric calls you on the phone and you gladly accept the opportunity.

Once you’ve hung up the phone, reality hits. Saturday night is going to be long and stressful.

After preparing for hours, you get to sweat it out on the stand waiting for your turn to speak. This might be the worst part.

Once you’re finally up there, you feel a little shaky at first, but after 10 minutes, it’s over. 🙂 You didn’t do half bad!

You look over the congregation, and they’re all impressed. Well done!

Now, CELEBRATE! You’re off the hook until next year.
